As of now, there are four confirmed dead and 24 injured as a result of the russian strike on Kostiantynivka, the Donetsk oblast. This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram on the afternoon of August 9.
"Kostiantynivka, the Donetsk oblast. A strike by russian terrorists on a regular supermarket and postal office. People are trapped under the rubble. The rescue operation is ongoing, and everything will be done to save lives. As of now, four people are known to be dead. My condolences to their families and loved ones. At least 24 people are injured", - wrote the President.
"Russia will be held accountable for this terror, and we will do everything to ensure that the world continues to stand with Ukraine, supporting our defense and the saving of our people’s lives", - Zelensky emphasized.
