A bust of the russian occupier Eduard Diakonov has been unveiled in a park in Mariupol named after him. This was reported by Denis Pushilin, the leader of the "DNR", who participated in the creation of this "new heroes" pantheon.

Pushilin reminded that the "Hero of russia", originally from the Irkutsk oblast, which is thousands of kilometers away from Donbas, died during the assault on Mariupol.

The park in Mariupol, named after the occupier responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of civilians in the coastal city, now features a bust of the "liberator".

Pushilin acknowledged that the glorification of occupiers is intended to "immortalize their names" in the consciousness of "future generations".
