The self-proclaimed "DPR-LPR" bridges and the whole enterprises are cut for scrap metal and then sold to Ukraine. The government should stop the supply of the scrap from the occupied territories. This was stated by the President of the Metallurgprom Association of Enterprises Alexander Kalenkov, who is quoted by the press center of the association.

"Anything that can be cut into scrap metal is cut. Monuments, as far as I know, even some museum exhibits, locomotives are cut. The rails are cut, the entire infrastructure, wires, etc. are removed, only burnt fields remain", - said the expert.

A. Kolenkov considers it to be necessary to restrict the import of such scrap in Ukraine. Otherwise, it turns out that the country contributes to the ruin of the infrastructure of Donbass.

In addition, according to A. Kalenkov, "the used scrap is from destroyed buildings and infrastructure, where there is blind shells, the so-called conversion scrap". "It is also brought, imported to our enterprises, it is unacceptable," - said the President of Metallurgprom.
