Leader of the "DPR" Alexander Zakharchenko’s guard, Russian citizen told that he decided to surrender to Ukrainian border guards, because he saw with his own eyes rape, pillage and looting by Russian soldiers and militants. He said that in the course of the SSU’s interrogation.

"Taking into consideration riots in Donetsk, looting, unemployment, robbery and rape, absence of salaries and gifalse propaganda on the part of the Russian Federation that oversees the "DPR" and "LPR" formations, I decided to surrender to the Ukrainian authorities. I fully recognize my fault and am ready to undergo fair punishment," - said the militant.

In May 2015 - March 2016 the man fought in the "Republican Guard", took part in hostilities near Shyrokino and worked in personal guard service of "cleader" of the pseudo republic Zakharchenko. From March to April 2016 he was a member of the Patriot illegal armed "battalion".

According to the detainee, on July 9th, he was beaten by the "DPR police" in Donetsk, then he took a Kalashnikov rifle at home and shot te two "police officers" of Proletarsky RB.
