Zelensky announced the arrest of an 18-year-old suspect in the murder of Iryna Farion

Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported the arrest of a suspect in the murder of linguist Iryna Farion, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky's Telegram post.

An 18-year-old young man has been detained in Dnipro. No further details have been disclosed yet as necessary investigative actions and examinations continue.

Zelensky mentioned that the operation to apprehend the suspect was "very complex". Over the past few days, hundreds of specialists from the National Police of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and other services worked on solving the murder.

The president emphasized that he instructed the Interior Minister to present all the details to the public.

Earlier, Zelensky stated that all possible versions of Iryna Farion's murder are being investigated, including one that leads to russia.
