An additional 100,000 units of ammunition will be sent to Ukraine in July and August thanks to a Czech initiative. This was stated by Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský on July 22, reports the agency Сeske Noviny.

"Throughout July and August, we will send another 100,000 units of ammunition. We are currently seeking funds to purchase new ammunition so that the initiative can continue into 2025", - Lipavský said.

He noted that 18 countries have joined the Czech initiative, with 15 of them already fulfilling their commitments and contributing.

According to Lipavský, this means that there are enough funds to deliver 500,000 units of ammunition to Ukraine by the end of the year.

Earlier, it was reported that the Czech Republic plans to supply Ukraine with 500,000 shells this year.
