Regarding the visit of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to moscow on July 5, 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine noted that the decision to undertake this trip was made by the Hungarian side without consultation or coordination with Ukraine. This was stated in the Foreign Ministry's comment on July 5.

"We remind you that for our state, the principle of 'no agreements about Ukraine without Ukraine' remains inviolable, and we urge all countries to adhere to it strictly. The only realistic path to restoring a just peace remains the Peace Formula. As demonstrated by the first Global Peace Summit in Switzerland, in which Hungary also participated, more than one hundred states and international organizations share the vision of peace based on respect for Ukraine's territorial integrity and the UN Charter", - the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated.

"The format of the Peace Summit is the key platform for seeking ways to restore a just peace. Ukraine remains constructively inclined towards further work on developing bilateral cooperation and European integration following the visit of the Hungarian Prime Minister to Kyiv", - the statement noted.
