"LNR’s" head Pasechnik was sentenced to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property

The so-called head of the "LNR", Leonid Pasechnik, was sentenced in absentia to 12 years in prison. This was reported by the 3rd Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts in Sievierodonetsk on Facebook on July 2.

"Thanks to the evidence base provided by the Security Service, Leonid Pasechnik, the head of the russian occupation administration in the temporarily occupied Luhansk oblast, has been sentenced to prison", - the statement said.

The court proceedings took place in a special in absentia trial (in the absence of the accused). For the totality of the crimes committed, the court sentenced Pasechnik to 12 years of imprisonment with the confiscation of all his property.

It is also noted that the criminal has been deprived of the right to hold positions related to organizational, administrative, and economic functions in government bodies, institutions, enterprises, and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership, for 13 years.
