Occupiers dropped bombs Niu-York village: 4 dead, 3 injured, including a child

In the Donetsk oblast, a russian shelling of the village of Niu-York resulted in the deaths of four civilians and injuries to three others, including an 8-year-old girl. This was reported by the Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office on June 28.

"On the morning of June 28, 2024, russian occupation forces conducted bombing strikes on the Toretsk community. Using, preliminarily, KAB-250, the enemy shelled the village of Niu-York. As a result of the impact in the residential area, a 45-year-old man sustained a head injury", - the statement said.

"Another shell hit a multi-apartment building. The destruction of the entrance to a five-story building resulted in the deaths of four civilians aged 43 to 76. A 39-year-old woman and her 8-year-old daughter sustained injuries. The child's condition is assessed as serious", - the prosecutor's office noted.

It is noted that under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated for violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
