Russian occupiers struck Kharkiv on June 27, hitting the city's residential areas. The attack caused damage to residential buildings and a dormitory of a higher educational institution, reported city mayor Ihor Terekhov on Telegram.

According to Terekhov, some buildings were destroyed, but there is no information yet about casualties or injuries.

Earlier, Terekhov mentioned that one of Kharkiv's university buildings was under attack but later corrected this information.

The head of the Oblast Military Administration, Oleh Synehubov, stated that the strike hit Kharkiv's Kyivsky district. Inspections are ongoing at the site.

Russian military experts refuted the claim that a bomb from the russian armed forces hit the Ministry of Internal Affairs hospital in Kharkiv and confirmed that it hit a residential building.
