Denmark will allow Ukraine to use F-16s for strikes on targets in russia

Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen stated that Ukraine will be able to use Danish F-16 fighter jets to carry out strikes on military targets in russia. Rasmussen made this announcement to journalists on Thursday, May 30, in Brussels, according to "European Pravda".

When asked by journalists whether Denmark would allow Ukraine to use F-16 jets for strikes on targets in russia, Rasmussen responded succinctly.

"The short answer is yes", - the minister said.

He explained that this position is not new and had been discussed for a long time.

"This is not a new position; it is part of the transfer. When we discussed this with our foreign affairs committee in the Danish parliament, we made it clear from the beginning that it is part of self-defense, making it possible to also attack military targets on the aggressor's territory", - the Danish Foreign Minister emphasized.

It was previously reported that on May 13, the Danish Prime Minister announced the possibility of Ukraine receiving F-16 fighter jets within a month.
