This was stated by an anonymous official in the Biden administration to The Washington Post, according to the Telegram channel "Nastoyashchee Vremya"

However, sources indicate that the White House is concerned about Ukrainian strikes on russian radar stations within the nuclear missile launch warning system. Washington fears that such attacks "could lead to destabilization". These radar stations are not involved in the war with Ukraine but are considered "sensitive objects".

"It should be clear to everyone that the US has no intention of using nuclear weapons against russia. But there are certainly concerns about how russia might perceive its deterrent capabilities being targeted and its early warning systems being attacked", - the official said.

It was previously reported that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz supported the idea of allowing Ukraine to use Western weapons for strikes on russian territory.
