Russian Colonel Alexander Bushuyev callsign "Zarya" died in the occupied part of Donetsk region. Former leader of Gorlovka militants Igor Bezler (Bes) wrote about that on his wife VKontakte page where he usually publishes his news.

"On June 29th there was an attempt on DPR militia commander "Machete" and his wife today. (3 July - Ed.) Attempt on commander of the 7 brigade callsign "Zarya". The brigade commander was killed. ANo everything smooth in the "seventh", - he wrote.

Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence reported that the commander of the 7th Brigade of the "DPR" militants with the call sign "Zarya" is the Colonel of the Russian Federation Armed Forces Alexander Bushuyev known to be prone to sadism. It was found that during the service Bushuyev acquired notoriety among his subordinates and colleagues in connection with regular cases of humiliation of honour and dignity, as well as physical violence.

At the time, volunteer Roman Sinitsyn writes on his Facebook page about two versions of Bushuyev’s death: either the heart failed or he was blown up by a land mine near Khartsysk.
