Ukrainian warriors destroyed 57 aerial targets: 18 missiles and 39 combat drones

On the night of April 11, russian occupiers launched a combined strike with missiles of various types and combat UAVs. The main direction of the attack was the Lviv oblast. This was reported by Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, the commander of the Air Forces, in his Telegram channel.

"In total, the enemy used 82 means of aerial attack: 20 cruise missiles X-101/X-555 from Tu-95MS strategic bombers (launch area - Saratov oblast, russia); 6 aeroballistic missiles X-47M2 Kindzhal from MiG-31K fighters (launch area - Tambov oblast, russia); 12 guided missiles S-300 (launches from Belgorod oblast, russia); 40 combat UAVs of Shahed-131/136 type (from Primorsko-Akhtarsk oblast, russia, and Chauda, Crimea). 4 guided aviation missiles X-59 (from the airspace of the occupied Zaporizhzhia oblast, Ukraine)", - he reported.

He noted that fighter aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops of the Air Forces, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the enemy's air attack.

"As a result of the air battle, 57 aerial targets were destroyed: 16 cruise missiles X-101/X-555; 39 combat UAVs of Shahed-131/136 type; 2 guided aviation missiles X-59", - Oleshchuk reported, thanking all defenders of the sky who repelled another terrorist attack by the occupiers this night.
