Firsov started scandal in Chernigov City Council
Ex-MP from Donetsk Yegor Firsov, registered as self-nominated candidate for the 206th election district in Chernigov, accused local officials of corruption and deception of people from the tribune at the city council session. It is reported by the correspondent of OstroV.
"Everyone talks about what tariffs should be! But you are deceived - the executive committee of the City Council already decided even on May 20th that the tariffs would be increased by 160%," – said Firsov.
Yegor Firsov also raised the issue of corruption in the city government. According to him, there are many crass cases of corruption to which no one even reacts.
"Construction at Yelets monastery is going on! Construction Commission decided that, despite the protests, petitions, pickets - construction would take place! In addition, there are many problems in the city that can not be solved and the city government only pretends to be trying to deal with them. For example, the city banned the sale of alcohol at night. I can show the mayor and representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, so that they see where they sell now. And everybody knows about it," – said Firsov.
He also gave mayor Atroshenko petition, which collected more than 1,000 signatures on the audit of the city utilities for corruption component.
At the same time, the mayor of Chernigov said that would vote for Firsov "... if I were a girl."
"I'm afraid that the mayor is disingenuous, impostor will only vote for the imposer, so he will support Mikitasya (candidate from the PPB - Ed.). To support me Atroshenko should at least stop stealing,"- wrote Firsov onFacebook.
