The police of the Donetsk oblast have documented the consequences of russian attacks over the past day: nine wounded, about 200 homes and civilian objects destroyed. This was reported by the regional police in a Telegram message on March 8.

"Over the past day, the enemy carried out 10 strikes on populated areas and 1371 on the contact line. The russian army attacked 10 populated areas: the cities of Kostiantynivka, Toretsk, Ukrainsk, the villages of Ocheretyne, Dovha Balka, Memryk, Novobakhmutivka, Novoukrainka, Umanske, and Uspenivka. 110 civilian objects were damaged - 91 residential houses, an agrofirm, a medical institution, a school, a shop, administrative buildings, cultural centers, a boiler house, cars, and power lines. On Toretsk, russia dropped a KAB-500 bomb, injuring three civilians, damaging 15 private houses", - the statement said.

"The occupiers carried out an airstrike with a 500-kilogram bomb on Kostiantynivka. Two civilians were injured, and 40 residential houses, a medical institution, a boiler house, and cars were damaged. Another KAB-500 was launched by invaders on the village of Dovha Balka. There is one injured person, and 2 apartment buildings, 13 private houses, administrative building, educational institution, cultural center, and a shop were damaged. In Memryk, 5 houses were damaged due to a guided air bomb. In Novoukrainka, an agricultural enterprise suffered damage. Ukrainsk was shelled by the enemy's "Uragans" - damaging 7 apartment buildings. As a result of artillery strikes in Uspenivka, 9 houses, an administrative building, and a cultural institution were damaged", - noted the police.

In addition, the police add, today after midnight, russian forces fired 8 rockets at the Pokrovsk district. Three people were injured in Myrnohrad, Novohrodivka, and Shakhmatne. Fifty residential houses, two hospital buildings, enterprises, dormitories, a shop, and 26 civilian vehicles were damaged.
