The russian army attacked Odesa on the morning of March 6 - there are casualties and injuries. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced this during his visit to Odesa, as reported by Suspilne.

"We witnessed this strike today. You see who we're dealing with; they don't care where to hit. I know there were casualties today; I don't know all the details yet, but I know there are casualties", - said Volodymyr Zelensky.

The President added that the russian army doesn't care where to strike: whether it's military or civilians. Ukraine needs an air defense system for protection.

"Whether they are military, civilians, international guests - it doesn't matter to these people. Either they've lost their minds or they have no control over their terrorist army's actions. This emphasizes the need for us to defend ourselves, and the best way is through an air defense system", - added the President.

At the time of the attack, the head of state was with the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis. They were in the port, and according to the Greek Prime Minister, the explosions were close to them.
