Poland found a solution to ensure that weapons and humanitarian aid can flow without delays despite the border blockade. Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, announced that Polish authorities will include border crossings with Ukraine, as well as sections of roads and railways, in the list of critical infrastructure. According to him, this will help remove barriers on the Polish-Ukrainian border for the delivery of weapons and humanitarian aid. Tusk made this statement during a press conference on February 22, as reported by Suspilne.

He emphasized that Poland must ensure full permeability of the border for military cargo and humanitarian aid.

Tusk stated, "To ensure a 100% guarantee that military aid, equipment, ammunition, and humanitarian aid will reach the Ukrainian side without any delays, we will include border crossing points with Ukraine and the specified road and railway sections in the list of critical infrastructure". He added that this change would be implemented "in the next few hours".

The Prime Minister of Poland further explained that this new measure "will mean a different type of organizational regime at border crossing points and access roads to the border with Ukraine".

During the same press conference, Tusk announced that to address the issue of the blockade of the Polish-Ukrainian border by local farmers, officials from Poland and Ukraine will meet in Warsaw on March 28.

It was previously reported that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the government to be present at the border with Poland by February 24 and invited Tusk and Duda.

Zelensky conducted a meeting on the blockade of the border with Poland, promising "swift actions".

Earlier Zelensky commented on the situation at the border with Poland, stating that the issue is not about grain but rather about politics.
