The arrival of the 53rd so-called humanitarian convoy from the Russian Federationscheduled for today is canceled due to technical reasons. It is reported by the separatist DAN websitereferring to the Restoration Control Center.
"Today there will be no humanitarian convoy from Russia because of technical reasons. The column headed only to the LPR," - said the statement.
"Humanitarian convoy" is noted to arrive in late July.
Earlier Russian "humanitarian convoy" was expected to arrive in the "DPR" on June 23rd and bring "more than 700 tons of food and medicine."
Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations doesn’t mention any technical reasons for the lack of delivery to the occupied part of Donetsk region. The Ministry claimed that the original destination was Luhansk region. "The humanitarian convoy will proceed to the destination - Luhansk region," – reported the website of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
This is the first case of cancellation of "humanitarian convoy" in Donetsk region during two years of military conflict in Donbass.
