The Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov splashed water on the head of the Odessa Regional State Administration Mikhail Saakashvili during the dispute at the National Reform Council. The Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov wrote about that on Facebook, - reports the UNN.

According to the report, the cause of the incident was the issue of privatization of Odessa Portside Plant.

"Just now at the Reform Council Mr. Saakashvili in response to my question to him - why he talked on OPP (Odessa Portside Plant - Ed.) to Russian oligarch from Uralkhim, and how it is related to the privatization of the OPP? – lost his control" - said the Minister about the situation.

Then Avakov said that the chairman of the Odessa Regional State administration started shouting and accusing him of corruption.

"I held back from hitting him and just splashed water on his face", - admitted the Minister.

"OPP needs to be openly sold to a Western company with a good reputation but not to the offshore company of the Russian oligarch with whom officials work covering with claptraps", - said Avakov.

At the same time Saakashvili on his Facebook page said: "I categorically demand from the press service of the Presidential Administration to make public the full video of the unworthy and provocative behavior of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Internal Affairs at the Reform Council today. The video was filmed with three cameras, and Ukrainian people have a right to see and know who rules them. I'm responsible for every word spoken there. It is time for actors who have brought the country to ruin, to be responsible for their words and actions".
