President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is ready to sign a decree on the demobilization of military personnel called up within the 5th wave of partial mobilization. It was announced today at the briefing by speaker of the Presidential Administration on the ATO Alexander Motuzyanik, - reports the correspondent of OstroV.
"President of Ukraine, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is ready to sign a decree on the demobilization of military personnel called up within the 5th wave of partial mobilization. There has been recently a conversation of the President and the Minister of Defense to conduct demobilization. The head of state fully supports this decision," – he said.
According to him, Minister of Defense Stepan Poltorak instructed today to prepare a document with proposals to ensure demobilization of soldiers of the 5th wave.
"At the beginning of the next week the Ministry of Defense will make a corresponding draft decree which will be considered by the President and adopted by appropriate decisions," - said A.Motuzyanik.
The speaker also noted that personnel in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had been prepared for the replacement of demobilized soldiers.
