In the area of the Joint Forces Operation on February 25, the armed formations of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire five times, - the JFO headquarters reported. The Russian occupation forces opened aimed fire at the Ukrainian positions from automatic heavy-duty grenade launchers and heavy machine guns not far from the village of Pivdenne, and from small arms - near Pisky. The enemy used automatic heavy-duty grenade launchers against our defenders near Pavlopil, and anti-tank grenade launchers - near Slavne. There are no combat losses among the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

131 cases of coronavirus disease were detected in the occupied territory of Donetsk oblast over the day. This was reported by the fake "DNR Ministry of Health". Eight more patients died. In total, as of February 25, 23 848 cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed, 5 354 patients were undergoing treatment and 2008 people died. Thus, the mortality rate remains at the highest level in the world - 8.4% (1.9% - in the free territory of Ukraine and 2.2% - in the world). Also, the occupiers report that 54 cases of "usual" pneumonia were detected over the day, 30 cases more than in the past day. Of these, 42 patients were hospitalized. A total of 955 patients with "usual" pneumonia are being treated, of which 471 are on oxygen support (+14 over the day).

The Fort Knox entertainment complex has been on sale in occupied Donetsk for $1.2 million for several years. A fresh message about its sale was posted on the ad platform in February 2021. Previously, a similar announcement was published back in 2018. "Operating business is on sale, the rent is possible", - it was reported at that time. Now the message says that "the entertainment complex is for sale, the cost of the premises is $1 200 000". As it was earlier reported, once extremely popular entertainment establishments - the Faces night club and the House of Synoptics restaurant, as well as the Shafran hotel and restaurant complex, were put up for sale in occupied Donetsk.

Some "coronavirus" restrictions may be lifted in the occupied territory of Donetsk oblast in the near future. This was reported in the separatist segment of social networks. "The corresponding decision has already been made and the order is now awaiting the signature of the "head". It is planned to officially authorize holding of some mass events (the "DNR Ministry of Culture and Sports is already preparing), personal appointments of citizens by "officials and deputies". The face-mask requirements are preserved. The rest will become known later", - a local blogger wrote. He also focused on an important issue for the residents of CADO - opening of the checkpoints. "…The question of opening (or partial resumption of the previous work) of the checkpoints on the borderline between the "DNR" and Ukraine, which is of interest to many, is not even discussed now. Political motivation is in the first place, but not the convenience or problems of citizens… It is not worth waiting for the full-fledged opening of the checkpoints in the foreseeable future", - separatist publics wrote.

A pass through the Olenovka checkpoint on the occupied territory of Donetsk oblast will be opened for entry and exit on February 26 from 9:00 to 16:30. This was reported by the "Anti-covid Headquarters of the DNR". Only those who have registration (residence permit) on the territory of free Ukraine will be let out of the occupied territory. To enter, the occupiers require permission from the so-called "interdepartmental operational headquarters", which issues it on the basis of previously submitted applications from residents. Also, the occupiers require filling out a consent form for referral to the inpatient department of a healthcare institution for examination at the entrance from those crossing the demarcation line. Or, if wished, undergoing a paid-for examination while passing the checkpoint (rapid test for new coronavirus infection Covid-19).

The so-called "supreme court of the LNR" in the occupied Luhansk region sentenced a resident of Lysychansk to 12.5 years in prison with confiscation of property for "espionage", separatist media wrote. According to the local "Prosecutor General's Office", the prisoner "sent to the Ukrainian special service information about the numerical strength and deployment of units of the LNR People's Militia". "The defendant was found guilty. Based on the entirety of circumstances of the criminal case… the defendant was sentenced to 12 years and 6 months in prison with confiscation of all property belonging to him", - the occupiers stated.
