Former head of the MIA of Ukraine Vitaliy Zakharchenko has stated that he was ready to lead the Russian "DNR" and "LNR" terrorists in the Donbas. He announced this to Russian propagandists from Russia Today, - Liga.net reports.

Zakharchenko stated that the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts must be united under the rule of militants, and he is ready to lead the united terrorist organization.

"Yes, I am ready", - Zakharchenko said.

When asked if he was ready for competition, Zakharchenko answered in the affirmative. He sees terrorist Denis Pushilin as a "competitor".

Vitaliy Zakharchenko is the ex-Minister of Internal Affairs of the times of fugitive dictator Viktor Yanukovych. Zakharchenko left Ukraine in February 2014. He has been wanted by the SBU since February 26, 2014. He escapes the law in Russia. Zakharchenko is suspected of sanctioning the abuse of authority and official powers by the security forces in the confrontation with the Maidan participants, which ultimately led to mass casualties. He is also a suspect in the case of organizing premeditated murders and assassinations during the Maidan in February 2014. He established the South-East Fund in Russia, which finances terrorists in the Donbas. He actively participates in anti-Ukrainian propaganda.

On January 28, the Eastern Human Rights Group announced the beginning of the process of uniting terrorists in the Russian-occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts into one formation.
