Number of COVID-19 cases in Ukraine exceeds 200 thousand

201 305 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of September 28. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"2671 people fell ill over the past day, including 164 children and 122 health workers. 472 people were hospitalized over the past day", - the minister stated.

According to him, 37 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day, 571 patients recovered.

"In total, 184 734 people fell ill in Ukraine during the pandemic, including 13 244 children and 14 921 health workers. 88 453 people recovered and 3 996 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.

20 313 tests on COVID-19 were carried over the past day, of which 16 533 - by PCR and 3 799 - by EIA.
