The so-called "DNR head" Denis Pushilin has reported that due to the worsening epidemiological situation in the neighboring "LNR", plans to open the "borders" with it were revised. This was written by separatist media.

According to Pushilin, the conditions and mechanisms for the movement of residents of the "republics" with one another had already been prescribed earlier. "But the situation began to change then. Unfortunately, we see that several schools have closed on the territory of the Luhansk People's Republic since the beginning of the week. In general, the situation in the world is aggravating, we see that we also have certain tendrils of fear", - the "DNR" leader said.

He also said that for the sake of observing the safety of people, the issue of opening "borders" with the "LNR" is no longer being discussed.

"First of all, we are concerned about the safety of our citizens. Therefore, we have suspended this discussion for now, and now we need to reduce the number of contacts between the republics", - Pushilin said, having added that the situation on the "border" with the Russian Federation would not be affected.

"Naturally, this does not concern Russia, we do not even discuss this issue, because the work of our enterprises, movement and interaction with the Russian Federation are vital for us. All other restrictions will exist for now", - Pushilin reported.
