Occupation authorities of the "DNR" have recognized the current problems with harvest of cereals and sunflower seeds. This follows from two "government decrees" on a temporary ban on the export of certain types of agricultural products outside the occupied territory of the Donetsk oblast.

The first of them notes that the ban on the export of sunflower seeds has been extended until February 28, 2021. Another "decree" prohibits the export of wheat, rye and barley from CADO until December 31, 2020.

Meanwhile, at a meeting with the "DNR" leader Denis Pushilin a week ago, Artiom Kramarenko, who calls himself the "Minister of Agriculture", assured that "this season's harvest already allows us to start planning the calculation of possible grain and flour exports this year". According to him, it will be possible to tale "about 58 thousand tons of wheat and 42 thousand tons of barley out for export from the uncontrolled territory".
