Brigade commander wounded in Novotroitske district in Donbass dies in hospital

Commander of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade, Colonel Yevhen Korostelev, who was blown up by a land mine in the zone of the Joint Forces Operation in eastern Ukraine on November 12, died. This was reported by the press center of the Joint Forces.

"Commander of the 128th separate mountain assault Transcarpathian brigade, Colonel Yevhen Korostelev passed away today at about 4 a.m. The officer died in the Kharkiv Military Medical Clinical Center of the Northern region without recovering his consciousness after a serious injury", - the report says.

It was earlier reported that two AFU fighters exploded on an unknown explosive device in the area of Novotroitske in Donbass on November 12.

"Colonel Yevhen Korostelev took command of the brigade about three weeks ago, having managed to demonstrate professionalism, gain respect and authority in such a short time", - the press center notes.
