People in Donbass want peace and it does not matter at what price it will be made – Sajdik

The most important thing for people in the Donbass is peace, and under what conditions it will be - it is secondary, - Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office in Ukraine Martin Sajdik believes. He stated this at the Salzburg Europe Summit international forum in Salzburg, - Ukrinform reports.

"I hear both in the areas controlled by the government in Kyiv, in CADLO and separatist regions - people come and say: thanks for what you have done, work further. The most important thing we want to have is peace. Under what conditions this peace will be is already secondary", - Sajdik stated.

Sajdik expressed hope that Ukraine would continue to pursue the path of economic and political consolidation under the leadership of President Volodymyr Zelensky. "Peace in the Donbass would definitely be one of the most important elements", - he said.
